Frizzy hair? Struggling to keep it under control? Not sure what to do to tame the main?

This time of year can play havoc with hair walking in and out of central heated places into the cold (and wet/damp) atmosphere

To tame your main here are a few tips that I would recommend
~ Ditch the brush, comb your hair with a wide tooth comb, your hair will thank you for it!
Brushes are harsh (even some of the wet brushes like tangle tamers) for wet hair, and when the hair is dry, the hair becomes static which will help your hair become ‘larger’
~ Regular hair cuts. By keeping those pesky dry, split ends at bay will help to create shorter, broken hairs which tend to frizzy up more than any
~ Avoid aggressive towel drying. Invest in a micro fibre towel and gently squeeze the excess moisture out from the hair and avoid rubbing harshly. This causes friction which can cause breakage and static electricity to form which will help to enhance the frizz
~ Silk pillow cases or wearing a silk turban or hat at night. Like with a towel, pillow cases can cause the same to your hair as excessive towel rubbing on your hair.
~ Plait your hair at night. If sleeping in a silk turban or hat doesn’t float your boat then a simply plaiting your hair can stop as much friction from happening while sleeping
~ Style your hair when wet. This helps to use less heat styling which is always a good thing even if you aren’t suffering with frizz
~ Good quality products. Using something with moisture in will always be a friend to your hair. Frizzy hair tends to be lacking in moisture. Always use a serum or finishing cream which will help to tame the annoying frizz
